Jim has been a licensed insurance professional since 1982, starting as a life underwriter for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance and Sentry Insurance. After winning numerous awards for sales and service, Jim ventured out on his own founding Bar & Shield Insurance Agency in 2009 with his wife Donna, Jim expanded his insurance expertise to include personal insurance and business insurance. He has been active in several professional organizations, and is an avid Harley enthusiast!
