Commercial Account Manager

Great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lines servicing agent who is looking to join a collaborative team! If you prefer to spend more time focusing on the client, and less time checking in the work you have submitted to carriers, this is the opportunity for you!

The Commercial Lines Account Manager position requires experience working with primarily Small to Medium Commercial Accounts. Primary responsibilities include managing the day to day needs of the client as well as managing the renewal of accounts by collaborating with the Producer, Account Executive and Account Coordinator.

Job responsibilities include:

Point of contact for customer inquiries.

Submit claims, endorsements, and other policy servicing correspondence to carriers.

Marketing renewals, preparing proposals, & reviewing contracts for insurance requirements and policy forms when applicable.

Posess the knowledge to assess potential exposures based on information provided by the client and make coverage recommendations to the Account Executive/Producer and client based on that information.

Updating agency management system with account information as submitted to carriers.

Document all client contact in agency management system.

Issue Certificates of Insurance for Large accounts, Evidence of Property forms, change request forms, renewal certificates, and various other insurance forms as requested.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with carriers & clients.

Taking initiative to investigate by inquiring with clients and carriers, as well as reading policy forms in order to provide the most comprehensive answers to policyholder questions as well as formulating risk management solutions.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of experience working in Commercial Lines preferably in an independent agency setting.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Property & Casualty License. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy. Self-motivated, with excellent organization and time management skills.

Desire to be a part of a positive working environment where teamwork is key.

Possess the knowledge and experience to mentor less experienced team members and collaborate within the Commercial Lines department as a whole.

*Signing bonus commensurate with experience.

Commercial Account Coordinator

The Commercial Account Coordinator is a full time in office position that requires attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. 

 

The available position is a great opportunity for a College Grad looking to jump start a career, or even the experienced Insurance Professional who is looking for more of an administrative role.

The Commercial Lines Account Coordinator position consists of minimal client contact, and focuses on supporting the Account Manager and Account Executive by taking care of the administrative details including timely processing of policy renewals, endorsements, rating, certificate requests, preparing detailed Insurance Proposals, and more. Through collaborating with the Account Manager and Account Executive you will be part of a cohesive team to reach the common goal of efficiency and client satisfaction.

The Account Coordinator will keep the agency management system current by updating policy information, record daily processing activity, attach policy documents, and documenting all communication in the client file in order to facilitate shared client information in a clear and concise manner to your team members.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience working In Commercial Lines Insurance.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Self-motivated, with excellent organization and time management skills.

Desire to be a part of a positive working environment where team work is key.

Must possess the ability to efficiently multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Professional and friendly demeanor.

Continuous desire to learn and grow professionally.

State of Wisconsin Property and Casualty license preferred but not required.

Experience working with Commercial Insurance preferred but not required.
